The Textile Design Program focuses on non-conformity and multidisciplinary approaches which are significant markers of excellence that encourage transformation through rigorous training, mentorship, and experiential learning. The program maintains both traditional and modern techniques of textiles design processing such as on-loom and off-loom weaving, block printing, surface embellishments, batik, manual screen printing, and dyeing of fabric and yarn facilities as well as a computer lab to provide the modern digital design solution. However, ecologically, and environmentally sustainable design issues are made an important concern of the program.
